    hopefully your playing the old 18 the new 9 aren't great if included in the round,course is big open parkland not too much danger,

    buy a strokesaver

    +1 The Old Course is the best. The new 9 are...........well...........boring, except for 7 & 8. Whichever course you play, there is loads of room, and the greens are always kept well and run true. They do have a nice practice area to the left of the clubhouse, if you feel like warming up. It isn't very hilly either so you won't feel knackered after the round, oh and the food in the clubhouse if good.

    Dont buy a strokesaver. Its crap. No distances to bunkers or hazards. Old 18 are class. Hope you get to play them.

    on the strokesaver it shows the distance to the bunkers off the tees and whats needed to carry them,
    it doesnt give distance to the bunkers you cant reach or close to the green.

    for example on the 1st it doesn't show the bunkers you cant reach up the left

    but on the old 2nd the bunkers are 207 to reach and 249 to carry off the whites;)

    all sprinklers are marked too

    buy the strokesaver in my opinion for the sake of a few €'s
