Not all artwork from iTunes transferring to iPod - why?

Guys, the question above says it all. Anyone got any clues? I am aware that in the case of albums for example, you need to tick boxes such as album name, album artist etc when assigning artwork, or otherwise artwork may only be assigned to some of the songs on an album, and not them all. However in this case I am noticing…

I am aware that in the case of albums for example, you need to tick boxes such as album name, album artist etc when assigning artwork, or otherwise artwork may only be assigned to some of the songs on an album, and not them all. However in this case I am noticing standalone songs, who's artwork appears as normal on iTunes, but not when it is selected on the iPod.

I have taken time (I may have some sort of disorder!) getting my artwork sorted on iTunes, and its now bloody annoying that the iPod is not playing ball!

All suggestions welcome.
