I am thinking of going to Sorrento in Sept. for 7/10 days. I will travel around from there on day trips etc.
Has anyone been there and if so could you recommend a nice hotel. ( not to expensive ) . I would like to stay somewhere central and of course a sea view would be the biz.
    Thanks in advance .

Aw I'm jealous, I LOVE Sorrento. I stayed in Hotel Bristol but I dont' know if you would consider not too expensive. We were treating ourselves when we stayed there so I would think it is probably not the cheapest option!! It is a lovely hotel though, with great views.

    Enjoy!

I wasn't absolutely mad on sorrento, too many tourists for my liking but the Hotel Bristol was really really gorgeous!!!

I'm just back from a 4 night mini-moon - we had a junior suite for 220 euro a night - it had a balcony and ... wait for it .. .a private roof terrace with sunloungers! The pool area is devine .. and the location is perfect, just a 5 minute stroll from the town itself. I wouldn't bother with full board by the way, there are loads of places to choose from in the town ...
