    Hi all

Myself and my boyfriend are hoping to spend 2 days in Dongeal in a couple of weeks. We will be coming from Cavan (on a previous trip) and are just looking to find out the best places to visit in Donegal in 2 days. We have no accommodation booked but will probably look for B&Bs as we are hoping to spend most of the time sight-seeing. Weather permitting!

It would be great if you could suggest the unmissable spots in Donegal....

    Thanks!

I suggest you head over to the Donegal Forum, and ask them for suggestions?

Slieve League is a must, it's fabulous. Beaches along the coast - usually empty and impressive. We go to Narin a good bit. Glenveagh park is also worth a trip.
We don't generally go further north than that, so I can't comment! Someone might be able to recommend something up further. Tory Island is an idea too.

Portsalson is well worth a visit about 35mins from L'kenny nice beaches and driving scenery. Also Rossnowlagh between Ballyshannon and Donegal Town..Donegal Town very picturesque!

i just gotta back up the statement above, no visit to donegal can miss slieve league. walk up to the cliffs and take a stroll along 'one mans pass' (at least if my memory serves that's what it's called), basically a narrow walkway between the oceans cliffs on one side and a type of gully on the other - on a windy day it's some craic! the 2 towns close to it are cool aswell. loads of little hideaway pubs and get some fish and chips for the local chippers - jumps off the plate!

brings back memories actually, love the place...must go back
