Waterford v Clare Munster Minor Final 2010

    A unique pairing for this final, Waterford and Clare have amazingly never met in a Munster Minor hurling final!

    Waterford are the reigning champs and will be favourites having already beaten Clare in an earlier round this year. Clare however came back and won their way to the final via the back door.

    Waterford have played 2 tough games since Clare won their semi final, with the semi final replay against Cork happening just 4 days before this final. Will fitness be a factor?

    Cork 0-24 Waterford 2-18 AET
    Waterford 2-17 Cork 1-14

    More in blind loyalty rather than anything else, unfortunately I can't see anything but a Waterford win in this 1

    Well the gap will have decreased between them as WD will probably be some bit tired from the Cork matches so it might be quite a close match. Hope that WD do it though and great to see the minors been in Munster Finals.
