Going to be taking the plunge in a few weeks with a new website and was just wondering about the T&C's. do i need to get a solicitor (how much could that cost) to draw them up or are they something you can pretty easily do yourself.

While the site isn't selling anything like a shop would it will have a subscription service if people want to join.

if your website will be collecting personal information, you are required to have a privacy statement. For info on what should be contained in your privacy statement see www.dataprotection.ie (search under 'guidance' for privacy statement).

Google for terms like 'sample privacy policy for website' or 'sample terms and conditions for website' choosing the pages from Ireland option if you like. The iia(.ie) and Enterprise Ireland also have some resources which you could use.
