    Hey folks,

I'm entering my second year as a full time mature student and my savings are starting to dip... so, I'm looking at working part-time this year to get some extra cash to get me through.

As it's a difficult time in terms of seeking work at the moment I'm wondering if any of you guys have any advice, insights or tales of woe to offer? What type of work have you been getting (if you don't mind me asking) and how did you find the work/study balance? Any advice on where to look / agencies / budgeting tips etc etc would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks for your help peops

    J ;)

you have to get up and just put out CVS everywhere every single shop place whatever
a few of my friends worked in nightclubs .. handy because they got good money for maybe 2 nights a week(more hours if they wanted )
i know a guy who drove he did pizza delivery and they are always looking for people
to be honest you have to find a job that works for you theres no point getting a job that gives you too many hours because it will interfere with your studies ..
well it did with mine i was working every single thur fri nite and saturday and sunday , it was a difficult course alot of work to be done and i fell behind and that was that ... i didnt even realise the work was interfering with my studies because i was too nice ... every time i was asked to do more hours i did and i covered other shops which i really regret ...

i am going to look into some promo work this year i'd say ... which might suit because it wouldnt be every week . you have to keep looking
in this day they tell you to take what you can get . but make sure your course is your first priority
