    Hi,

Some of my original mat fittings (car floor) are broken and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get replacements? I purchased fitted mats specific to the MKV golf but the twist fittings that came with them don't fit the female piece on the car floor....

I've uploaded a few pics of the stock fittings to show what I'm looking for - any info would be greatly appreciated , cheers folks

What fittings came with the mats? Last VW mat fittings I saw just screwed in to the carpet (base bit) then the top bit (like pic 1) goes through the hole and connects to the base part.

It is possible that the part in the carpet comes out?

    Thanks for your reply R.O.R.

I don't think the base part comes out as it seems to be larger than the hole in the carpet, it's not actually attached to the car floor but kept in place by the carpet itself...?

The fittings which came with the mat were similar in size to the hole but had a kind of cork screw tip..., the stock fittings just popped into the female part
