Anyone know of any places for badminton where you can just go and play friendly games. Not interested in leagues or anything like that.

Haven't played in a few years and looking to get back into it. Preferably north Dublin or city centre :)

I'm interested to know this too - Does the YMCA on Aungier St. do something like that - the info on their website seems to be out of date so not sure

I dont know about the YMCA, but southside there are summer social clubs on in whitehall road in terenure. (Think the 15a or something goes out that way). There is three nights on at the moment, all start at 8 I believe. I go to the tues and thurs ones most week and it is quite enjoyable.

Tuesdays is organised by a club, CIE. 8€
Wednesday is organised by a club, Beag is Beo, dont know any details on this bar they are a nice crowd
Thursday is organised by the LBBUI. 7€

Thanks for the reply - I actually found out about another place - St Catherines gym on Marrowbone Lane. You can rent a court for €10 an hr - not bad!

The above places that I mentioend are summer clubs, as opposed to renting courts yourself. Ie there are a large bunch of people who go down to play, from a variety of clubs / levels. So you end up playing with/against different all the time.
