Accidental coffee city break

Just back from a few days in that there London. Aside from getting unexpectedly close to Beyonce and Gwyneth at the Jay Z gig on Saturday, the other entertainment was provided by various coffee stops. Two visits to Gwilym's cart - Columbia Rd on Sunday and Whitecross St on Monday (couldn't remember where the shop was, so didn't make it there) The cappa at Columbia Rd was rated by herself as the 'best ever tasted'. A trip down to Monmouth's roastery in Bermondsy on the Sunday too, and called into Monmouth St yesterday. Otherwise Flat White on Monday, and Nude on Hanbury St (a really good iced latte, which tasted sweet despite no sweetener added).

Nathan Barley types take note - The flat white seems to be now 'out', and the piccolo is 'in'. And filter is all over the gaff.

We started doing filter's in work (V60 & Chemex) and now it's had at every chance.

Is piccolo not a character from Dragonball Z? :pac::pac::pac:

The flat white was still "in" last month. Things change quickly over there.

I prefer Milk Bar to Flat White, which is its sister café. Breakfast in Milk Bar is excellent, the scrambled eggs were delicicious.
