Mobile Outlook Access

I recently bought the LG GW300 phone. Great phone and really enjoy its usability etc. One thing that would complete the phone would be access to Outlook email. I searched for some time but I see no way of synchronising Outlook email with the phone. I do have access to Gmail. Can I access Outlook via Gmail or what can I do.
Are you aware of other ways I can gain access to Outlook email via this phone?
