I'd say Galway Bay Seafoods would be your best bet. they're located at the docks there somewhere, haven't been myself but seen it on tv and have heard good reports from friends....not sure if they definitely do wild salmon tho.....if they didn't they'd tell ya who did im sure.

Bring yer wallet, wild salmon commands a huge premium price these days as there are so few allowed to be caught commercially. Price was €100 a salmon recently. Galway Bay Seafoods might have some, but most are sold for smoking these days, if they don't have any then good luck. I understand where you're coming from, wild is so much better than farmed. I catch my own, but that takes a lot of effort!

also, its just that m mam used to cook the salmon my dad used to catch and they both died last year and it would be lovely just to have some again, but then again i probably wouldnt cook it as good as her, is the organic salmon as nice as the freshly caught??

Have u tired the fish mongers on Henry Street, then there is another on high street and than the stall in the Eyre Square Shopping Centre.
its very rare that yo would get fresh salmon as the quota for catchig them as being Lowered.

It's incredibly rare. Dunnes, not the shop, of Howth do it but it's not always Irish but is wild. It's really expensive, maybe try some of our EU friends who took it all.
