Who are these feckers?

I'm always seeing these people mentioned on a regular basis, but I haven't a clue who they are. Are they the dregs of some reality tv show gone wrong, or some big band that Louis Walsh is managing?

I'm assuming that they must do something, or there wouldn't be any standing ovations, or holiday extensions.

    Can someone enlighten me?

    Standing ovation for Cowen

    STEPHEN COLLINS and MARY MINIHAN

Taoiseach Brian Cowen got a standing ovation last night after a “rousing” oration to his parliamentary party in which he defended his leadership of Fianna Fáil and laid down the law to dissident TDs.
Mr Cowen opened the meeting with a 15-minute speech and spoke again at the end.

Dáil heading for three months off, says Cowen

    MARIE O'HALLORAN AND MICHAEL O'REGAN
The Dail will take holidays for three months until the end of September, Taoiseach Brian Cowen has said.
For several years the House has returned after the summer recess in mid-September, but this year it will have a break of 12 weeks.
During a noisy and lengthy Order of Business, when the business for the day is set, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny asked the Taoiseach when the Dail would resume when it adjourns tomorrow for the summer break.
Mr Cowen said it would ?probably? be the ?end of September, the 29th?.

Yes, It's probably 4 out of 10 for effort with the post, but at least you've reminded me of what makes Cowen famous. It's just odd that he gets a standing ovation and longer holidays for being a fat useless prick.

So Cowen got a standing ovation for announcing longer summer holidays. That seems reasonable.

Did he say if he was going anywhere nice for his holidays?

People scorn him for getting paid so much money, then scorn him for going on a caravan holiday.

He got a standing ovation from people at a meeting for FF...

So...basically he got a standing ovation from a bunch of minions who have to follow him, for fear of their jobs etc...

I wouldn't count that as any sort of triumph.

Shock horror, FF supporters support FF!!!

These morons give that fat fuck so many standing ovations, I'm beginning to think Fianna Fail installed electrodes underneath each seat in the Dail.

well i won't, because fatness is predominantly caused by a combination of laziness and greed, and I suffer from neither of these afflictions.

Thanks for your thoughts though, I don't wish you any specific harm.

There was a standing ovation because the crowd thought they were looking at a seal on stage, out of its natural environment, speaking in broken English.
