Lighting for small room?

    Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone had experience with setting up a small-scale lighting rig.

Basically we'd like to set something up in our rehearsal room for some ambience when we do the odd gig there. Perhaps even when we're practicing. The room is your average decent sized rehearsal room, about the size of a classroom if that makes sense.

Not looking for anything too fancy really, the budget would be about 600 - just something to add to the atmosphere and augment the vibe changes in the music etc...

Not sure if we should be looking at something we can program to the bpms of the songs and use it with a click-track or if it's possible to use a stand-alone system that could respond to drums that aren't going through a PA, this may not be possible.

After a little bit of research I saw this kind of stuff on Thomann

but in reality, I'm still fairly clueless...any advice appreciated.
    thanks
