    Hi,

We just got O2 mobile broadband and it's working fine on our PC at home and on my laptop but for some reason when we connect it to my dads laptop the browser keeps redirecting to the o2 home page. I literally can't even type in a webaddress and it flicks back to O2. Any ideas why this is happening?

What browser are you using Dave?

As a first step, if it's IE, click on 'Tools', then 'Internet Options' and check what the home page is set to.

If it's Firefox, click on 'Tools' then 'Options'

If windows just open by themselves then just enable the 'pop-up blocker'

For IE, 'Tools', then 'Internet Options' then the 'Privacy' tab and tick the "turn on popup blocker" box.

For Firefox, 'Tools', then 'Options' then the 'content' tab and tick the "block popup windows" box.

Thanks Paddy, I'm using IE. My homepage is Google but when I launch the o2 BB it automatically directs me to o2.ie, on my laptop this isn't a problem, I can just navigate away from there as usual but on my dads laptop if I go to another site it keeps flicking back to o2.ie after a couple of seconds.

It's like i'm hitting 'Back' but i'm not, if that makes sense.
