Just wondering what colour shoes would you wear with this dress, would you wear silver sandals or would a nude colour be better- to be honest have loads of shoes (of course no nude ones) that I don't wear and would like to be able to put shoes I already have to use.

i think silver sandals would be very pretty with that! it would brighten it up a bit! Although it does depend where you are going.

i saw trinny and susannah on a talk show a few weeks ago ( i know i know) but trinny said that many english and irish people cant take this whole nudey trend and the trick was to brighten up the colours by wearing things like pearl chains, and accessorizing with colours which would 'lift' the outfit so to speak.

    Gorgeous dress by the way!

At the moment Pennys have a platform heel with a lil bow on the front in that exact colour! Nude with a tinge of pinky colour, think theyre only 21euro.

If not, silver sandals would be lovely, really does depend on how your accesorising it/where youre going.

i would wear hot pink or teal and get a bag or accessory to tie them in. you dont want to go too pale.

Exactly what I thought when I saw the dress! I think going with nude/silver/light pink will make it look a bit bland, especially if you're pale skinned.

Thanks for all the "shoe" advice, I am just waiting for it to be delivered, got it on line on Karen Millen Sale. So going to wait and see if it fits before buying any new shoes but will definately take all the colours given into account.

I would agree with pearljamfan...definitely go for a totally different colour...a friend of mine was at a wedding recently and she wore a raspberry coloured dress, dead plain with lime green shoes and lime green accessories, was fab!!!

Agree with adding colour. I think nude would just make the whole outfit a bit too 'safe'. You could pretty much wear any colour shoe with that dress, and give the outfit a bit of a lift.
