We have Blogs on our Website http://www.tom-murphy.ie/toms-blog/. The website is relatively new so we are trying to generate hits onto our site through facebook. We have a competition on our facebook called 'Groom of the Month' which has generated over 3,000 fans so we want to take advantage of this and get them to our site

    Any one have any tips?

As far as I can remember, there is an option in Facebook that lets you add a rss feed url and it automatically updates your account with each new post,

cant remember where it is off the top of my head though sorry

Type "RSS Graffiti" into the search on the top of Facebook. It is an absolutely amazing app that does exactly what you want. You can post the same feed to your personal page, and as many fan pages as you want. Or different feeds to different pages etc! Its brilliant! So flexible and easy to use. Also the posts look good on the wall! Takes an image and all.

    Its running here:
    http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/AMP-Sound-Systems/156567775603?ref=ts

Give me a shout if you get stuck and I will upload screenshots or something to help you on your way! ;)

Thanks for the link. I'm finding it very hard to understand though. It says it will help manage my RSS/Atom feeds. What are these? It's my first time trying to use all these blogging tools. I still haven't been able to set up a blog roll and I haven't a clue about the RSS feeds and everything that goes with it.
I'm interning at a small Cork business who just launched a new site. I was helping with the development, now that is launched, I am helping with getting traffic to our sie. I have been using Facebook (currently just under 4000 fans) and Twitter. I've been trying to use blogs too

I would greatly appreciate any help please

    Hey Kev,

I won't go into a detailed explanation of RSS feeds - cos it's all here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS

However, I did take a look at your site and your RSS feed URL is http://www.tom-murphy.ie/feed/

Paste that in where asked in RSS Graffiti (I think its the first box) and you are sorted! You will have to authenticate it for each fan page you want to publish to, but thats pretty straight forward.
