Honestly? From someone of the nightclub age I say don't. Its a dying market and unless you think you can get high volumes each week it won't pay.

The major factor to remember is that customers no longer wish to pay €10-€15 before they get a drink in rural parts of this country.. And their right not to.

Best of look if you do decide to give it a shot.

    Where in the west?
You'd want to be looking at one of the towns/cities.........and the lease prices I would suspect are still quite high.

If you have no idea of where you want your club, how are you going to run it? It's not as simple as open it up and they will come. Think long and hard about every aspect of the club from the lights to the bog :D

No one said that you didn't know how to run a night club. If you have 5 years experience then you should have mentioned in the OP.

I still stand by what I say though, its a dying market unless you have heavy foot traffic.

I agree. The way things are at the minute you'd probably be better opening a bank

get in touch with some of the local offices of the banks, they may have a few on their books that they'd like a different operator in.

If your looking for djs or sound install I can point to you to some of best around covering all styles....its hard to get people to pay the 10 - 12 Euros anymore.

People plan their nights out these days as opposed to just heading out every Friday and Saturday , the live music scene is doing well and I think you need a niche to pull in the punters, also some excellent marketing!
