'Taker's Wedding

Said i'd post a new thread on this as per the guidelines in the Wrestling News Thread
WWE officials are not happy with the Undertaker.

Presently out of action nursing an injury, the storyline on WWE programming is that the Undertaker is in a vegetative state and unable to compete - although he will likely return for WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view next month.

Over the weekend, photos from the Undertaker's real-life wedding with Michelle McCool surfaced.

And WWE is said to be unhappy about it.

While World Wrestling Entertainment has nothing against the Undertaker marrying a WWE Diva, the executives are displeased with the release of photos, as they "distort" the storyline in place, say sources.

Anyone else think this is bull? Taker by all accounts is probably far more worried about his character than even Vince himself and i doubt that the picture surfaced with his permission. Even if Taker did release the picture, i would doubt that the 'E would kick up a massive fuss about it considering his status within the company and the fact that other superstars have often broken kayfabe in similar situations such as being out injured.

I think Taker can do what ever the f*ck he likes at this stage, he's been there longer than everyone except Vince pretty much.

As you said, Taker has been more anxious about protecting his character than anyone ever, so if it was OK with him, I doubt anyone else will raise objections.

They need him, more than he needs them at this stage. The guy is untouchable really.

I think its bull****. How many times have we seen someone story line injured then pop up in a new TV show or movie.

This is about the 500000th time that the Undertaker is "finished" "dead" in a "vegetitive state". It's the same story they have done a million times and and a picture of his wedding will have no effect on it whatsoever.

Is it 1970 or 2010?! Even with the PG audience, I think most people can handle a character on TV getting married in real life.

On a different note, do you think instead of wedding bells that had a wedding bong? :D The blushing bride being led down the aisle by a team of druids maybe? When Taker proposed he HAD to get down on one knee and present the ring as if it was the urn :D

Yup. First it was the casket match at RR 94, his face getting crushed by Mabel in 95 (though I think that was legit), I think he was buried alive in 99 and was resurrected as a Bad Ass. There's been so many!

Suspension of disbelief is already shattered.

Did he have that "Sara" tattoo removed or is it permanently or temporarily covered up (make up or whatever)

he got it lazer-removed, but it's not 100% removed. You can see that something used to be there. It's more like a mild blotch now.

Do you think Chainz reprised his Best Man role? Or was Mideon given the call?
