Transferring to nuig

Iv been thinking about transferring to nuig from dit for awhile now.I just completed first year business and management in DIT and just decided to make real plans today. I went on the nuig website and it says

'Applications for transfer are considered for admission into 2nd/3rd years of the following:Engineering, Information Technology, Nursing, Science, Commerce, Arts and Law. The closing date for 2010 applications was Monday 21st June 2010. Completed Application Forms must be received at the Undergradute Admissions office no later than 21st June. We regret late applications cannot be considered.'




It seems very strict that they cannot be accepted after june 21st. But i really need to move, mainly as i cant afford to be living in dublin any more but iv also been living in galway all summer and i love it so much Galway has pratically the exact course i was doing in Dublin. Commerce.. which has 285 people in it.. and im sure alot of people will have dropped out by second year. Its only the beginin of July now..
does anyone know if i would have any possibility of being able to transfer even tho iv missed the closing date???

The best thing ya could do is contact the college in charge of the course(which would be business for commerce). They'll be able to give ya a definitive answer, or direct ya to someone who can.
