How much €'s for 12 months?

    Hi, I'm heading away in August for 12 months and was wondering has anyone any idea how much money I should have saved/borrowed before heading?
    The plan is to go to Asia for 2 months, Australia for 6 months, NZ for 6 weeks, N.America for a month and S.America for 2 months, this is a rough guide of what we are thinking, we are hoping to settle in Oz and work for a few months but I have heard it is as difficult to find a job there at the moment as it is here and I don't want to be short on cash for the rest of the trip.
    Any anwsers would be much appreciated, thanks.
