Hi ive recently been let go from my job(van Courier) I feel now that i can do what ive wanted to do for ages i.e train to be a barber.
My question is after the initial 6-10 week training how do i go about getting a job in a barbers as they all require that employees must have 2-4 years experience?

Any Barbers i would love some advice.

    Cheers.

    My cousin is 21.
He finished college and worked in a pub for a few years, then did a course as a barber for a couple of months.
We all thought he was wasting his time!
Then he started looking for a premises. He was getting crazy quotes and it looked like it wasn't going to work out.
Next thing he noticed a building which used to be used as a small shop and B&B, with a family home to the back. There are pubs, shops and coffee shops in the area but no barbers. He asked how much it would cost to rent out the shop part (which had been shut for years). I don't know the exact figures, but basically his brother is a carpenter who made some units for the barbers, and they got the sinks plumbed. He is the only employee.
It seems to be going pretty well for him.
