iPhone messaging problem

    3GS on OS4

Had this problem about 5 times. I get a text from anyone and where it says the persons name or number at the top of the screen is blank. That means I cannot delete messages as the arrow back to the inbox is missing.

What this means is if I get another text after this one I can't read it as I can't exit the message which has appeared with no contact etc.

Only way to solve is power down and reboot.

    Anyone else have this problem?

this happened to me once on my old 3GS running iOS4.
i pressed the home button and went back into messages and it was ok.

if that doesnt work then a restore may be due. seems iOS4 is still very buggy!

No that doesn't work - only way to fix seems to be reboot
