21st Birthday Venues

    I'm planning my 21st birthday, provisionally the Friday 15th of October. I'll be having a band and a DJ, and about 100 guests (BIG family :pac:) No hot food/meal, just some sweets and then the cake. Oh and a bar of course.

    Any ideas on venues?

    Have thought about the Garda Boat Club by the park, but would prefer something closer to town.

    Have yet to put a budget on it, waiting until I can see what's out there and available so I can try get the best price. All ideas welcome!

    Downstairs of Doyles, it looks small but theres actually plenty big of a dancefloor and small stage for a band...it's €100 deposit, you must find your own dj though!

    panama on eden quay is good for 21st, but 100 ppl may be pushing it..! The manager is very flexible though:) might as well have a look!

    By your location have you tried anywhere local? The arc in liffey valley or hannigans in parkwest or the redcow? I know you have entertainment lined up but the above are doing good priced packages all inclusive

    I was hoping for something in town, as we'll all probably head to a club afterwards, and it's more convenient for my friends to get to. Not many of them live out Palmerstown way.
    It's more just the room/bar I'm looking for, don't want food or a DJ who's gonna insist on 21 kisses :p I've got a rock and roll band and a soul/60s DJ :D
