Alcatel locked to orange france

i just found an old alcatel at home from when i worked in france 5 years ago or so, i want to use it as a spare but i can't find the model number, and the sim card is long gone, would my best bet be to use a rebel sim? if so anyone know anywhere in cork (bricks and mortar) where one could be purchased before saturday…
