    Hey Guys

In September Im starting a health sector studies course in BallsBridge collage of further education (PLC) , Im hoping that after i finish this course I can get onto a nursing degree program.

So i am wondering if anyone has ever taken this route and got onto a nursing degree program with a PLC qualification, and if so how are you finding it.

    thanks

Hey, I have just finished nursing studies this year. I applied for nursing as a mature student for this sept and got a place. Doing the fetac course will give you an extra chance of getting a place but really there isn't many places for fetac students. Check the nursing careers book, it gives you a list of all the colleges and the number of places they provide for fetac, NOT MANY!!

Yep definitely be aware starting that you will most likely need 8 distinctions to get into nursing
