It's 2 games back, released in November 2007.

It was the first non-WW2 game in the Call of Duty series (COD4). They went back to WW2 for World at War (COD5) in 2008, and then modern again most recently for Modern Warfare 2 (COD6).

COD WAW is still the definitive title of them all (and I own every one)
Mw1 is not bad, Mw2 is an absolute disgrace, was good for the first few weeks, then it became jampacked with Glitchers, boosters and Campers with heart beat sensors!

Waw, couple of years old in fairness, but the lobbys are always stuffed with folk playing, which IMHO is a testimonial to it's longevity and playability!

Dogs, artillery strikes and killing ze Germans just can't be beat!

Zavvi charge £1 for delivery. Not sure about delivery times, usually a week, so you probably wouldn't have it for Tuesday.

I've played all 3 and really enjoyed the 3 of them but Modern Warfare 1 is the best of the bunch. If you've not played it, it still holds up really well and is highly recommended. Especially at this sorta price.

no difference,,i thought the game of the year edition would have the map-packs but that's not the case

Just to let anyone know, it's also 12.99 pre-owned in Game. I got a copy there, and whilst preowned it was in immaculate condition, looked like it never left the box.

And I was also confused by GOTY edition - is there anything different about it whatsoever? I had assumed it came with map packs. Pretty cheap if there only difference is in fact the GOTY title.

they really should have included the extra maps for the game of the year edition. activision being a bit greedy really.
