Stats & Probability - 3rd level Assignment

    Hi everyone,

    was wondering if anyone of you had the time to overview the assignment (part B) that I'm dealing with right now but having difficulties finding a starting point altogether.

    The assignment is that there is 1 printer available in a college, and then I am given minutes between visits and probability for each value.

    # of mins - probability
    1 - 0.1
    2 - 0.3
    3 - 0.5
    4 - 0.1

    # of mins in use - probability
    3 - 0.1
    4 - 0.4
    5 - 0.4
    6 - 0.1

    I have to setup a model that will bring about random arrival patterns for the 1st 12 students, 1st having arrived at 11am.

    Then I have to determine if a queue has formed and if so, what's the avg length of wait?

    Also if there are any people skilled to assist with such an assignment I am also looking for a tutor in Cork, but has to be done this week.
