The 12 pints of beer before might have something to do with that.

Are they gargled at this hour of the morning or are they just have plain clean fun?

I hope some spotty gimp from Templeogue/Terenure/Clonskeagh gets a angry bull's horn up the hole.

Even better if the prick has a mobile is videoing the event for his 'mates.

    Serve the cretins right.

I'm too old and knackered now. Its only cool getting gored if there was a chance of avoiding it.

    Definitely doing this some time.

Can't wait for the animal right's activists and their in-put on this thread. :pac:

A friend of mine, a giant veg head, was at a protest a few years ago where they all ran through Pamplona naked in an effort to change the tradition to a naked run instead of torturing bulls.

Boobs sounds a lot better than a load of bull to me!

I know the Spaniards can be a little odd but calling them animals is going to far. Although Torres is a bit of a headless chicken at the moment.

Of course. I'll vote with PETA if they promise me I won't get an eyeful of cock.

A load of shaft and stones would be most unsavoury.

    T'-darrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
A 45-year-old Irishman was gored by a bull during the third day of the San Fermín festival in Pamplona this morning.

The man was one of two people gored and seven taken to hospital following the traditional 850m run through the streets of the Spanish town.

According to the Spanish daily El Pais , the man was gored in his left leg and taken to Hospital Virgen del Camino in Pamplona where his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

It's almost always some dumbass American tourist.

Most people who take part in this actually train for it - they decide beforehand where they're going to start running from & where they're going to stop and they take note of all the good places there are to jump out of the way should a bull catch up with them. And they don't drink before doing it.

Then you get the stupid tourist who thinks, after a skinful of drink in the afternoon heat, that "ah, shhuuure daaat luuks eaaazi" & not only gets mauled by a bull, but puts a lot of other people in danger as they try to distract the bull & rescue the stupid drunk f*ck from death.

    43 year old dublin man,
At least it was the Americans that got the torn scrotum
An American was also injured Wednesday in another event during the San Fermin party in which calves are released into a bullring to be taunted by young men.

The unidentified 22-year-old man sustained a ripped scrotum from a horn injury

A ripped scrotum? Sure the bull was only checking to see if he really had any balls!

My dad did the bull run when he was 65,,,, he headed off with two of his friends for the festival.

    They had a great time..

Although he felt like a knob wearing all white !!
