Vintage repairers?

Newbie here with a couple of queries...

Have checked the resources sticky but there does not seem to be a link or links to reputable repairers for vintage watches.

We're based in the west, like vintage watches, and are trying to get an old watch repaired but are finding that a generation of watch repairers are gone, or fast disappearing as they retire. Sought out O'Connell's in Galway but Mr O'Connell senior retired last year and his son is a jewellery specialist. We had negative reasponses in a couple places we tried in the city. We have heard of only one or two others in the region but they are out of our price league.

The watch we want fixed is a ladies gold-cased (Charles Nicolet) Swiss made wristwatch with a basic Stauffer Son & Co. movement, dating from about WW1. Simple dial, Roman numerals, red at XII. It is wound at 3 o'clock, and the hands are set by pressing a pin on the case at 4 o'clock with a fingernail while turning the crown.

I have emailed a couple of places elsewhere in the country and I'll post back here if any of them come up trumps. In the meantime if anyone has any suggestions I'd be glad to hear them. We also have other vintage watches that will need servicing so we're interested in building a (reasonably priced!) relationship with a good service/repair specialist.

Our other watches include a simple 1955 Rolex 'Shock Resisting' dress watch, a mid-fifties Accurist, and a Roamer 'Calendar'.

Plus one on this search. I've found either they dont want to know, or simply dont know or want to charge an arm and a leg for straightforward cleaning. I used to send my stuff abroad(US france spain) but those options are no longe open to me.

As a follow up to my earlier post I can report a truly excellent, old fashioned, very best kind of reasonably-priced service for the customer can still be found at Kenneallys in Limerick. I would recommend them to anyone anywhere in the country, although I know many would be apprehensive about trusting a valuable old watch to An Post.

If you have a problem with an old watch and would like it overhauled I recommend you call them and have a chat about it.

I'd personally have no problem with someone PM'ing alantul, but no unsolicited PM's going the other way please.
