Combining two sat cables and terrestrial aerial

I'm intending to install a FTA dish for a relative with cables to two TVs and to combine a small aerial for the Irish channels with these. Will the aerial short out the satellite box control signals? Or is there a special isolating aerial splitter available? ( Plan is: aerial -> splitter -> two sat/aerial combiners then both cables into the house) My own setup has the aerial going into a multiswitch so situation doesn't arise.

Also many thanks to everyone for all the advice:) information:D and opinions:eek: presented on the sat and terrestrial forums with such goodwill over the years. Made learning very easy.

You can get a combiner which will accept inputs from 1 x terrestrial, 2 x satellite with 2 cable outputs. Try Mike at freesat.ie
