    thinkn of going interrailing 4 first two weeks of august however dont wana be stuck constantly on a train and dont wana pay a fortune but i dont mind where i go within reason.

    Any tips or advice?

    Get a map out, see what cities you want to see and then use bahn.de (change the language to English at the top) to see how long travel times by train between cities are. Use the search function on this forum to see what routes have been discussed before and see what interests you. It takes a while to get your head around it but it's kind of all part of it.
