Badminton for Beginners?!

    Hi,
    Living in Leixlip, looking for a badminton club! Not to sure where to look, applying etc! would like something in the area but I'm prepared to travel within reason. I've played in the past but still consider myself a beginner. I'm in my mid 20's so be enjoyable with some people around my age:o

    heya!
    im in a club in kilcock, about 10 mins from you in the GAA club there. We are open to beginners and have a fairly mixed aged group. Im mid 20s aswell and theres a good few around my age.

    PM for nights when to come down and stuff if you like!

    I'm also a beginner and would love to start playing but I'm being scared off by the thoughts of everyone knowing each other and being really good etc. :o

    Is there any beginner friendly clubs around dublin, particular south dublin (city and county)?

    you could try the badminton branch centre in Whitehall Road in Terenure as a starting point. They generally have beginners coaching classes, and would be a good starting point to find out about clubs that play out of Whitehall (there are a good number), and which ones are suitable for beginners.
