I used to read Powerslam. I thought it was OK until I discovered the internet wrestling sites that had all the news without delays.

I still get Power Slam, must have every issue going back 12 or more years at this stage. It really introduced me to the real workings of pro wrestling. These days I get it mainly for the profiles they do, but the "news" sections are irrelevant really.

I use to get a lot PWI, Powerslam, WWE Mag, FSM and I think the other one was the wrestling observer?

I stop buying due to money problems/stuck with loads of wrestling magzines everywhere and lack of intrest in wrestling in genreal.

Might still get powerslam now and again but it's really stuck in a rut there only so many times you can read about what wrong with TNA and how the WWE is re-hashing everything.
Along with six page re-cap's of WWE PPV's that they tell aint very good so why waste six pages on them? But it has to be the best written wrestling magazine esp when dealing with wrestling deaths and things of that nature unlike...

FSM. To be fair havn't read in a while so maybe it improved but when I did it was filled with mistakes, look like it was done on commodore 64, overhype everything (TNA IMPACT best wrestling video game ever!) and they loved using ! - ~ * everychacne they got.
Along with guest columns by Lance "Here's whats wrong with TNA/WWE every month" Storm and Alex Shane who if you belive his column is the best at in ring psychology and HHH is on top because he uses a symbol like the one the Nazi's had.

PWI/Wrestling Obsever: I found these two werid if Im right they were half shoot/work magazine. Some of the interview's were good cause they went long and indepth and then fliped it by writing like the WWE/TNA story lines were real.

Around 97-99 I used to buy the Official WCW magazine. It was three months or so behind the TV show which led to covers like "Why Giant/Lex Luger go to the NWO?" and they had already gone back to Team "WCW" in the storyline. It also had guest column by the likes of "LionHeart" Chris Jerico & Konnan which were filled with in-jokes about the other WCW wrestlers and "The Professor" Mike Tenay who came across like a ego-manic in one column as he tried to take credit for getting Goldberg over.

Also around 97-2001 ish time I recall WOW: World of Wrestling. Being a wrestling junkie at the time I loved it cause it talked about ECW which I didn't see at the time and talked about indies/japan wrestling along with WWE/WCW.

i buy FSM and powerslam every month. to be honest they are the best wrestling magazines around. both are a very good read. i kinda prefer FSM because its a little more modern feeling and a bit bigger.
i used to buy the official wwe magazines years ago but they are the biggest waste of money ever!! nothing but useless facts, pictures and nonsense in them.
I have bought a handfull of the american mags through the years like PWI but i dont find them as enjoyable as the british ones and seem very outdated when you read them.

Have been reading Power Slam for years now and still enjoy it,have bought FSM a few times but didnt really like it,too much MMA in it for me.

Used to buy the old Raw and WWF magazines years ago and for the most part they were just WWF propaganda, but every once in a while they'd have an interesting article that usually focussed on the behind the scenes stuff. Was actually just reading on old WWF magazine from 2000 the other day and they had a feauture on OVW which had singled out Shelton Benjamin,Charlie Haas,Levithian and Brock Lesnar as huge stars for the future.

I read Powerslam and the Observor...and FSM also, epecially since I began getting printed with them :p

Out of the lot I prefer FSM simply because Powerslam, while interesting, sometimes you are reading a history book on wrestling thus making it drag on abit.

Powerslam and FSM every month. Prefer FSM since they seem to realise PPV reports and news will be out of date by the time you read it, so focus on interviews and articles instead. PS is ok but can be negative.

I've never liked PWI. It seems to work as if kayfabe is still in place sometimes which is shocking in this day and age....

I used to get Powerslam and the WWF/WWE Magazine every month (about 5/6 years ago). It just seems pointless now with the internet, and i kinda moved away from wrestling for a while.

I used to love the section on the WWE Magazine that had a review of the latest PPV, and it would have pictures and results of each match.

I read PowerSlam every month but since I read the news on the internet and from podcasts, I find my self skipping the first ~8 pages. But the articles and in-depth discussions are top class, something I don't find anywhere else. God help PS if Fin Martin ever got sick!! The lad does everything! It's considered worldwide to be one of the top magazines in the industry.

I listen to betweentheropes and liveaudiowrestling (they're free podcasts) every week, they also have great discussions.

I don't wanna slag off PWI or WWE Magazine but they're both kayfabe magazine, so it's not a good place to get your news/opinions. But if you like it, then good for you man!
