Need a big piece of leather (even imitation leather) Anyone help me?

    I need a long cut of leather, or even imitation leather.
    Would need about 8ft 6inches in lenth... and the width would have to be 4foot 6inches.

    Anyone know where I could get a single cut like this from?

    I looked for it in alot of places of dublin. No joy. Any help would be appreciated.

    Well now it would be a very big cow that you could get a strip of leather that big from. You can get imitation leather from places that do upholstery.

    Well you know what I mean :P doesnt matter if its two or more pieces sewed together. just once its that lenth as one :P

    You wouldn't think of trying the local saddlers would you? If you live near Goodwins in mulhuddart or Berney brothers they might be able to get it for you or tell you where you could try. Just a thought may not work!

    Michael Guineys in Limerick sell leatherette at €6 per meter. Not sure if its in all their stores though!

    Try either upholsterers or cobblers - if they don't have it, they might be able to give you contact details for some of their suppliers.
