Can anyone recommend any good type of shapewear? The ones I've been using are okay but not amazing!! Anyone have any experience of the Gok Wan range?

    Thanks :)

    Hiya,

Ya I'm trying to find out about which ones are best...
I have heard the Spanx ones are the best..

Other people swear by Trinny & Suzannah ones..

I've the pants from Marks (the ones that go up to your boobs) but I find it uncomfortable and it tends to roll down sometimes!

I got a "dress" one from Dunnes and I love it. It just smothes everything out without pushing things from one place to another so there's no "spillage"

The M&S ones are sh1te beyond belief. I've tried a couple and they're just awful. I don't want them to roll down and giving me a bigger muffin than I already have! You'd think M&S would get their act together.

Actually, I have been seriously impressed with Penny's shapewear vests. My friend who really doesn't need one was raving about them and they're grand for wearing around the house. I usually wear one under a t-shirt and it holds me in very nicely. So it is a yay from me. Definitely give them a go. :-)

I got a 'Yummy Tummies' vest and slip in Brown Thomas - best thing I've ever used - they don't hold you in so tight that you end up bulging like an overstuffed sausage, they're comfortable, and they actually make a really noticeable difference. I bought a very similar vest in Dunnes a few weeks ago for way less than the 'Yummy Tummies' one so I must keep an eye out for a knock-off of the slip too! The Dunnes one feels a tiny bit looser than the 'Yummy Tummies' one, but considering the price difference, I'd have only bought the Dunnes one if I'd come across it first!
