    Hi Guys,

I am looking to get my car repaired for the NCT. It failed the test on the following points.

Wishbone/ Swinging Arm Mounting worn (Offside rear and nearside rear)
Steering Linkage Inner tie rod end worn (offside front)

Does anyone know how much this will cost to repair and would anyone be interested in carrying out these repairs for me?

Thanks for looking and an extra thanks in advance for any information.

The car is a VW gold MK4

Are these bushes that are worn?

    It shouldnt be too much.

I had a service with my Mark 4 where the anti roll bar bushes/linkages were replaced. The service included fixing a window mechanism (and parts) along with some other small things and all that came up to 300 euro. I dont have the service receipt here but the bushes dont seem to be too expensive a job.

    Thanks guys,

Im based in Artane, work in Parkwest and do a few jobs in Portmarnock. So there are the three places that would suit me best.
I have replaced the bushes before on a Honda but tbh Im a little older now and wiser, so I dont want to be messing around with stuff I know nothing much about. I do have the Haynes manual though :D....

Would anyone be interested in repairing this for me or would you recommend dropping into a garage? I usually use Charlie in swords really good but money is my problem. Just got the head gasket done and its killed my savings.

    Thanks..
