Important to get back to winning ways tonight

indeed, must be 6 wins now to have any chance and hope for a few draws around us. all the other teams will probably win tonight so we need to also.

2-2 draw... game made a lottery by a savage breeze which made it impossible to play aginast, though we seemed to play a little bit better in the 2nd half when playing into it, but we were always facing an uphill battle as it was impossible to play any sort of ball against it. damage was done going a goal down and then 1-1 at half time, it was a game we could have lost but we upped our game and held firm, defended alot better in the 2nd half and created chances, but the ball wouldnt go in.clay made a super save with about 5 mins left and then kenny had a great chance to win it, but it didtn go in, they also cleared off the line in the last 5 minutes.

1-1 in the last minute, jules scored a peno and it looked like we had it won but the scored with the last kick of the game seconds from the tip off, a volley form the edge of the box that you will never see better. sickening, but we cant complain, we didnt play well for the first 20 minutes or so and it cost us then.

little bit disappointed that all the players who played so well on friday nite werent the first on the team sheet, but this is not the place for discussing team selection.

Ah Ed, that's rubbish, when have the cup games ever dictated selection for the league matches? If you can't make it on a Friday, you can't make it.

That conversation ends now lads, team selection has never been up for discussion here, and it never will be.

The wind definitely affected our intentions to keep it on the ground and we should have been in control by the break. Things weren't helped with Gav doing his hamstring in, we struggled for width then and fair play to Anto and Conor who ran themselves into the ground. The equalizer was a sickener alright, truth be told they were probably worth a draw but a sickener nevertheless. It was a cracking goal
