Women tennis- best of 3 sets

    Hi,
    While watching Wimbeldon was just thinking about the women only playing best of 3 sets. Isn't it about time this was changed?
    Female tennis players are professionals and have training, diets, weights etc. to make them the pinnacle of fitness.
    I'm sure first to three sets would be no problem for them.

    Sure in modern times they're equal in every other sport that I know of (including 'hard' sports like marathons, triathlons etc.)

    The earning potential for the women is far higher than the men in Wimbledon. They now get the same prize money as the men, but that actually makes it unfair on the men as with the women only playing best of three they also get plenty of time to play in the doubles tournaments as well.

    Giving the same amount for the overall prizes did not make thing equal, as what they have to do inorder to win it is not equal.
