Probably one for The Gentlemans Club? ;)

Go see a GP would be the first option if it's a problem. If you're too embarrassed, get a new GP. If you really don't want to go then check out solutions for Hyperhydrosis on google which might help alleviate the symptoms but not the underlying problem.

I think there's something called Drysol that you can get, as a roll on or dab on, for areas other than your armpits.
I could be wrong but I think there is something like that.
If it's just a normal thing and not a medical issue I mean.

Then I'd try and locate the Drysol stuff, afaik you can use it on your arms & hands and stuff too.

I'd advise you to wash under your arms etc with soap and not shower gel or that.

Far more effective for keeping clean smelling.

Try to relax, a lot of sweating is related to social anxiety, and actually stressing about the sweating itself. It actually perpetuates itself.

hey OP, I have the same problem, i had to wear string tops all the time cause i would constantly have sweat patches, i might even be cold and i would still sweat! i tried something like drysol as mentioned by star-pants, its amazing!! stings a bit at first(if i had shaved that morning), but you get used to it and i would literally be bone dry under my arms now, best thing i ever bought! i think 1 in 10 people sweat excessively, over active sweat glands. maybe check it out with a GP first just to be safe, good luck!

The medical term is "hyperhidrosis" and it sounds like you have it.

A tip would be to buy clothing made out of material such as modern rugby shirts are, you can buy all sorts of "clima cool" in your local golf shop.

All the deoderants in the world won't make a difference unless you can afford silver nitrate stuff which is sold in america. A mate of mine had it and got bullied for a long time, we eventually found him under a pile of Sure for Men. A sad, sad, story,

That Drysol stuff is the biz, they sell it in Boots.
Hard to find though, so ask staff for help.

I had a cheap fan for the office, it made life much more pleasant.
You can buy one for 15 euro or so in Argos, realy a good investment.
If you do work in a office you'll come across women who complain about open windows and the air conditioning as you slowly faint from the heat at your desk

FYI , anything that you need to spray on your skin that blocks your natural process to sweat is bad for your body long term, its not a long term solution using Drysol, the same reason why you shouldnt use anti-persperants.

Either consult your GP about it, or eat healthier. Cases have shown that a bad diet can lead to excessive sweating.

Or get fitter, I use to be over weight and I'd use to sweat alot, I'm now alot slimmer and dont sweat nearly as bad.

Have to disagree with the exercise comment, not that its bad for you, but I exercise alot and it doesnt help, I sweat buckets as well OP and would love to know why im worse than everyone else, luckily my job is mechanic/non office related so it doesnt really matter.

It can help but not for everyone.
Even then people who are incredibly fit can sweat buckets, their body is just very efficient in trying to cool itself.

Anyway, this is straying into medical advice.

Tried that Drysol stuff but didn't work and I sweat alot but also exercise atleast once a day. But had a major problem under the arm pits. Switched from spray to gel roll on Gillette that you get in Boots and works a treat.
    Also, Talcon powder helps aswell.

I have the same issue with sweating, i get it on my face and it is horrible. Does anybody know if that drysol stuff works for the facial area?

Ok I know I've said this a few times in this forum already, but it really is a fantastic cure. Wheatgrass supplements; take them every day. They are a natural remedy that help reduce excess sweating and body odour. My brother takes it and it works absolute wonders, to the extent that if he goes a few days without taking it people notice.

A friend of mine suffered very badly with this. He used a product called Anahydrol Forte. It's available in the Chemists over the counter so far as I know. He has never looked back since then.

OP is it all over sweating or just specific areas?

Keeping your arm pits shaved can significantly reduce under arm sweating if this is causing a problem

It comes in tablet or drink form, or if you want to go super hippy you can sprout it yourself! Any health shop will stock it, and some of the bigger pharmacies such as boots. Can't give you a specific brand but if you ask they will give you advice. I've heard nothing but good things about it as a cure for sweating and odour.

i assume ur just sweaty and not smelly. i was buckets, its unreal. i play alot of bball, exersice does nothing. sprays do nothing. just have fresh clother/shower often.

unless a doc can do something this is the way it is.

I went to the local herb shop and they highly recommend sage supplements for sweating. I have started to take and I honestly don't sweat as much as i used 2.;)
