    Hi,

Does anyone know where it's possible to buy sweet cider (or cidre doux) in Ireland? We came across it in Normandy and it was lovely but we haven't come across it here.

    Thanks.

Decent offies usually have at least one. This one's on special at DrinkStore at the moment, and they deliver. Redmond's of Ranelagh carry a different brand which is very nice but I don't remember the name.

An a very interesting way the produce it an not just adding sugar back after fermentation. They deplete the must of nutrients with chalk thus control the fermentability of the cider

Dunnes Stores do a French cider, not sure if it's sweet or not but it comes in a Champagne type bottle anyway. Only costs a few euro.
