    Hi all.

Thinking of going to Amsterdam in Sept and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on where to stay. If anyone stayed in apartments that would be great. Looking for something on budget, so any help would be appreciated!!

Hi Ive been to Amsterdam a few times, i stayed in a Hotel called the Bellevue Hotel twice, its a 3star hotel i think located a 2 minute walk to Central Station. I also stayed on the Amstel Botel (a boat hotel) which is located behind Central Station but you have to get a ferry over to where it is docked, i think the ferry runs every 30 mins. you would probably get the Amstel Botel quiet cheap, its pretty basic, small rooms and tiny bathroom but you probably wont be in the room much so it shouldnt bother you. We got a good breakfast in it. id say its a 2 star, bearing in mind the hotel rating over there is possibly different to here. I have never stayed in Apartments so i cant reccomend any to you.
