    Hello all,

Apologies if this question has been answered before, my poor searching skills didnt find it!

Im heading away to the UK next week for a couple of weeks and could do with access to emails etc and given that im an o2 customer, data roaming is just not an option.

Can I bring my meteor dongle and just buy a sim for it or are they locked to meteor? If I can, should I just pick up any payg sim with data on it? Any reccomendations?

    Cheers,
    Simon

The modems are normally locked. You could get it unlocked, either ask Meteor or pay for it (eBay or DC Unlocker).

    Totally.

I'm a Meteor user, but I have a 3 card for the UK.
Spoil yourself with a mifi - probably cheaper than the roaming charges.
If you've an unlocked phone that'll act as a USB modem, I'd just get a 3 SIM even!
