I have recently updated IrshAirsoftSites.com and will continue to do so in the coming weeks and months.

There is now a forum to allow user to post reviews of the Airsoft Sites in Ireland. I hope this will become a valuable tool for anyone looking to gain some info on Irish Airsoft Sites.

I have also added a Guestbook, so that, if you want to say hello, make a suggestion, or even hane a rant, you now have somewhere to do so.

I hope to add more features in the near future. If yoou have any suggestion about what you would like to see, I would be glad to hear them.

    Thank you,
    Jack

A new Dublin map has been added to save time for those of you in the caspital to find a site and shop.

Also, if anyone wishes to add a review of a site they have been to into the forum, they are more then welcome to do so.

No, unfortunately, after repeated tries, i have been unable to get a response from HRTA to get their permission for them to be shown on the site. I know it sounds strange, but I like to get the sites permission before I add them to the website, just incase the name/logos are protected/copywrighted

Are you talking about GTAC? I thought that had closed down.

I have an email inbound to Corrib. Thanks for the heads up, it's greatly appreciated

Its not gtac, its a little shop across from brown thomas :P. no idea of contact details but they have a few AEGs etc but don't seem to be too enthusiastic towards questions about parts, the sign over the door says "beat the ban" :o maybe someone from galway can help out?.
    Keep up the good work.

    Enjoy the sport

The "Beat The Ban" thing, is more a scare tactic to get people to buy their stock than anything else, I've seen it in a few of hose gadget shops.

The shop is called Cartronix, but from what I've heard its sh!te. Bad quality, overpriced stuff and bad aftersales service. Never been there myself, just basing the above on what I've read

Well then. I won't insult those on the site already by adding them to it.

I have another one for you, i think they are new but they offer free shipping on orders >200. good enough range of stuff, bought a piece from them as another retailer had just sold their last one and had it next day. it wasn't quite what i expected but when i drew their attention to it they made an effort to resolve the situation.

Wondering about a suggestion not sure if it would be popular or not.......

What about putting some sort of calander up a bit like a raid planner used in online rpg games where its Lists a Date, Events, location, or just ordinary skirmish days and allows skirmishers to enter information like if they are attending or not attending or thinking about attending certain events or just ordinary skirmish days.

So say there was a bunch of players from Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway, Kildare, Clare and other Counties that wanted to go skirmishing on a particular Date, they could update their status on a calander for a particular date to say what their skirmishing plans were. It may help people that may be deciding to go for a skirmish to see
who is going where in the country.

Hum, that sounds class. Not even to have on the site, but to use aswell.

Could you send me a link to somewhere that uses it? Sounds like something that would be perfect for the site

Granted though, it will take soem tim eot stick up, mostly cause I have to learn how to do it (as you have probably guessied from the site, not exactly a seasoned webmaster, but I try my best)

    *** Web developers Wanted ***

OK, I have decided to trey and go ahead with an interactive calender for the site. I hope to have it so that...

    1. Bob can go onto the site and say he is going to Redbarn on the 15th with 12 other people
    2. Bob can post it onto his Facebook page that he's doing this
    3. Bob can look at the other sites to see that John and 8 others are going to the office bolck on the same day
    4. Paul can go to the calendar and have a look at the 15th and easily see that 13 are going to redbarn, and 9 are going to the Office Block
    5. Some other features, that which I am open to suggestions to
Problem is, by the quotes I have gotten from proffessional webmasters, it seems fairly expensive.

So, I am looking to see if anyone would be interested in doing it as a personal chalenge. I am not exactly a proffessional webmaster, and this is unfortunately beyond my capabilities.

If anyone i interested in lending a helping hand, I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Jack at IrishAirsoftSites.com
