Anyone know where I could get HR foundation? I know there's nowhere in Ireland which stocks it, but could anyone advise me as to a reliable website from which I could purchase it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've ordered make up from CD Wow before, recommended

Thanks, Pythia. I usually buy in store so I'm not at all familiar with any of the sites and their reliability.

Yeah, I think they used to operate under a different name and then incorporated into their original site. Perhaps used to be called wowwoman or something? They still do my favourite perfume which is discontinued now so it's great. The perfume comes gift wrapped!

Typical of my luck. They don't have the colour make up I need. :(

Looks like I'll have to get a few friends to go shopping for me when they're abroad over the summer!

I thought you could get it in BT's? I might be wrong though as I don't use it myself. I was sure I'd seen it in there though. Maybe they don't stock it anymore?

They used to have it, but apparently they don't stock it anymore - it's not included on their 'brand directory'. :(

HR hasn't been stocked in Ireland for a good 4 or 5 years. I think the last place to stock it was out in Liffey Valley.

Trust my mum to be awkward! :p Explains why any time a member of the family goes abroad we have to bring back at least one bottle of HR foundation!

Have you tried strawberrynet.com? They can be expensive but they have some stuff. http://ie.strawberrynet.com/makeup/helena-rubinstein/

What exactly are you looking for? Name, colour etc?

Thanks! I was actually just about to ask if anybody had used that site before and how they found it!

Preferably I'm looking for the Colour Clone Perfect Complexion Creator No. 20 - Vanilla. Though I think at this stage I'd settle for almost any HR No. 20 foundation (apart from the compact version!).

I have a friend in France at the moment, so I think I'll ask her to see if she can get some and send it back to Ireland. HR doesn't seem to be stocked in the UK, either, according to the store locator on the HR website.

Strawberrynet is well known and trusted, I've ordered there before. They fell out of favour with some people recently though for raising their prices. If they have what you want, I'd say go for it. Interesting book about Rubenstein's life btw - called 'War Paint' by Lindy Woodhead.

I remember reading some where that M+S makeup is made by Helena Rubinstein (or it might have been their skincare...) so it might be worth looking in there for a similar product...?
