    Hi,
Just clearing out my attic and wondering if anyone has any ideas how to find out if school books from about 8 years ago are still in use?

Chemisrty live and my physics book are probably about all, if even them i'm guessin!

Anyone any ideas what to do with anything not in use? can books be recycled?

    Thanks?

    can books be recycled?

If they're the same as the school books I had and are made of paper, then yes.

If you've any primary books from recent years, I know someone doing some research who might take them off you. I've sent him this thread and he'll be in touch - hopefully in time. He might take some secondary ones too.

Look up the relevant publisher's websites, Folens, Gill and Macmillan, and Edco would be the main publishers. If they are still selling them, they are still being used.

Chemistry Live is still being used anyway, I use that book for LC.

If Chemistry live is the old edition then there may be some sections short as the course has changed since then.
