bbs ,, 2/ 28.....

hi guys .. would just like to know at the moment i have my warrior l96 scope in useing 2 gram bbs it shooting fine im quite happy with it ,, have very little hop up on just a smig.... i would like to know if i was to use 28 gram bbs would i have to adjust the hop up and resight the scope .. or can i just use the 28 gram bbs ... and get the same effect ????

Due to the heavier weight of the .28g BB you will need to apply a little bit more hop-up to achieve a level flight of the BB
When you get the same flight the point of impact should be the same (all other things being equal) so the scope should not need any adjustment

thanks chris im dennis,s mate ... just got this rifle thurday dont want to be messin around with it yet till i get the hang of it.... if i use 28 bbs what would be the proper settin for the hop up could you tell me ????;) is it full off full on just in the middle right at 12 or left at 12 .....

That'll vary somewhat from gun to gun... The only reliable way to set the hop is to fire it out to long range and adjust it until you get the maximum range without the BBs floating upwards....
