    Guys,

I'm trying to upgrade my uncle's warehouse without breaking the bank. He has the above system in his warehouse but has two problems that I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction without breaking the bank.

Its in the premises about 8 years. Basically he wants to be able to view all 9 camera's from his office on a flat screen mounted on the wall. Can I take a feed from the PC? The DVMS is in another location on the premises. He uses the PC (a Dell) to review the camera's at present on Network Client. Will the pictures be "live" so to speak?

Not only that but he want to be able to move/control the camera's in that office. There are already two monitoring stations with two joysticks on the premises in other locations. He's been told that a re-wire plus upgrade to IP is the only way to do this.

He tells me that the camera's are been moved in the wrong directions by staff but he doesn't want to remove that facility from all the locations.

There should be a bnc monitor output at the back of the dvr that you could use to feed the flatscreen tv in the office.
To control the cameras you will need a keyboard loaded with same protocols as the domes. you would also need the admin code to add the new address of the keyboard so the dvr will pick it up
As far as rewiring and upgrading to IP, sounds like someone is looking to create work for themselves
