Why am i getting "Insert your viewing card"

    Sky has been a bit jumpy all week but today i've been getting "insert your sky viewing card" :( And before anyone asks yep i have inserted it...Anyone else having this problem? Other sky box in the house is working fine :(

    Have you tried turning it off. unplugging it for a couple of mins and turning it on again. May clear the fault.

    This happened me once as the chip on the card had blown, dont know why.. You should try taking out the card and giving the chip a quick rub of your jumper etc...do not use any liquid on it....

    Alternatively try using it in another box, friends etc to see is it reading...if it isnt ring sky and ask for a replacement...
