Im using a Samsung R620 at present.
It has HDMI Out ,a ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 graphics card and a blu ray player.

By my logic it should be able to output hi def and be used as a bluray player when connected to a tv.

when i play a bluray in it and connect it to a samsung 40" hi def tv, it plays, but there is Always a black border around the image. I cant figure out how to make the image take up the full screen.

is it that, as the laptop screen is not full Hi Def, it wont output in full Hi Def, despite the graphics card being technically able to?

    Anyone experience this problem?

if you are using windows media player i don't think there is any adjustment to the output resolution while watching movies. Try downloading Zoom player and pressing the R key to change resolution
